The club, which is run by local mums of twins, will be meeting at the Vineburgh Community Centre, Quarry Road, Irvine, KA12 0PS throughout the year on a Thursday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm (Please watch the website and Facebook page for any closure announcements). During the school term the club is open for mums to be, babies, toddlers or pre-school children and during the school holidays siblings are welcome too.
The club is run by local mums so all we ask is that members attending the club on a Thursday make a £3 donation per family to cover the costs of the hall and the light lunch for the children any surplus will be kept to fund events throughout the year. We intend to stage fundraising events to help raise funds for our club and any ideas at this stage are more than welcome.
What to expect
just a few of the community benefits
We offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere so new or expectant mums of twins can talk to other mums who understand.
Share experiences and solutions to some of the tricky problems that present themselves day to day.
Learn about how we all cope with the challenges of having one set or multiple sets of twins – yes some of our members. have more than one set!
We provide a light lunch for all the children.
Kids fun time
There is a large variety of toys etc to keep the kids amused so you can get that rare warm cup of tea and a chat.
We will be holding some themed Thursdays to celebrate Easter & Halloween and we will also organise annual events such as our Christmas Party etc.
